We were saddened to learn of the recent death of Jackie Hillsdon, wife of Brian Hillsdon. She had attained the grand age of 89 and had been, in the course of a busy nine decades, an accomplished equestrian and show jumper, an enthusiastic dog owner and exhibitor of canine agility, and latterly a craft potter, working and firing her creations at home. More senior SBA members will remember her aboard ‘Willow’ with Brian at SBA events. Our condolences go out to Brian and her funeral, will be held at Woking Crematorium on Monday 3rd August at 2pm, when the SBA’s Mark Rudall will officiate.
