In event types 1 and 2 the SBA organisers and SBA members are covered by the SBA Liability Insurance; these events count towards the SBAS boiler test Discount Scheme.

Launch from Totnes SBA time.

Note that we can use the public slipway at Totnes Steamer Quay (satnav TQ9 5AL) with secure car & trailer parking again this year for a donation to the RNLI.

Note that the tide is quite a severe spring tide.

Reception Drinks at Dartmouth (in Dartmouth Yacht Club adjacent to our moorings). Time to be confirmed.

Our berths are inside the pontoons, just above the lower car ferry (satnav TQ6 9BB)

Thursday 30th Aug: HW 09:18 BST 4.8m                   LW 15:00 BST 0.7m           HW 21:30 BST 5.0m

Eve excursion to the Maltsters Arms at Tuckenhay, top of Bow Creek (satnav TQ9 7EH)

Depart Dartmouth after 4pm to arrive with the tide about 6:30pm

Return with the tide, navigation lights & care!

A.M. Brass polishing in preparation for judging of best steamboat by Nigel Way MBE.

Approx 15:00. Parade of Classic Craft (including steam boats). Full details to be supplied.

Possible eve Meal before the fireworks?

Option to haul out on the eve tide.

Sunday 2nd Sept: HW 11:12 BST 4.5m                       LW 17:00 BST 1.3m           HW 23:36 BST 4.4m

Steam up to Totnes with the tide early morning.

Costs:

As usual, this is a ‘pay as you go’ rally.

·         Totnes car/trailer/ (boat) storage in a locked & fenced compound is by donation to RNLI. Vehicles left at our own risk. Suggested donation is £20-£25 per boat either cash or cheque made out to RNLI.

(If using another slipway/storage please pay direct, as applicable).

·         Dartmouth Mooring fees & Harbour dues. This is TBC (we may get a discount).
